Jerry is a Master of Music student majoring in jazz composition at the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Music with First Class Honours degree from St. Francis Xavier University in Canada. As a jazz composer, Jerry’s works had performed by various ensembles of UNC, including Jazz Lab Band I, II, and III, and the Spectrum Studio Orchestra. Jerry studies jazz composition under Professor Drew Zaremba and jazz guitar under Professor Steve Kovalcheck. Jerry has also been invited to present at the New Music Workshop of Symposium 2022 held by the International Society of Jazz Arrangers and Composers. His musical interest is to create unique sounds using the language of jazz and Western classical music elements. Jerry currently serves as a graduate assistant and music copyist for the University of Northern Colorado School of Music.
