Olivia “Liv” Roumel is a vocalist, guitarist, songwriter and pianist. She attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston and earned a bachelor’s degree in music from Naropa University in Boulder in 2019. Growing up in Southeast Michigan, she performed in jazz clubs and other venues from the age of fourteen, singing standards along with original music. She recorded her first album, “Blip,” in 2018, and continues to record, produce, and perform an eclectic range of styles. Liv not only offers students her experience in performance and composition, but she is advanced in music theory, chart writing and transposition. Her teaching style springs from her lifetime of diverse and constantly evolving musical and life experience. In addition to vocal training, Liv teaches guitar and beginner piano. She has also gained a strong understanding of vocal health and emphasizes this in lessons. Liv is ready to offer tools and ideas, and her receptive approach helps each student nurture their own unique passion.
