Taylor Sapanara is a violist and educator from Mesa, Arizona. She has been playing the violin and viola for the past 10 years. Taylor obtained her Bachelor’s in Viola Performance from Arizona State University where she also obtained a certificate of Music Entrepreneurship. She has held teaching positions with private studios such as Buchanan Music and the ASU String Project. She has also led elementary music and orchestra classes at BASIS Charter Schools. Previously she has performed with the Scottsdale Philharmonic, Voices of the Valley Choir and Orchestra, West Valley Symphony, and Arizona Philharmonic. Her passions lie in assisting students in maintaining a healthy relationship with music and their instruments, performing solo repertoire, and participating in musical theater pit orchestras. Currently Taylor is pursuing a Masters in Viola Performance from the University of Colorado under the direction of Erika Eckert.
