Kelly Irwin

Kelly is a current Master of Music student in Voice Performance & Pedagogy at CU Boulder. She graduated from the University of Delaware in 2026 with a Bachelor of Music with Distinction in Vocal Performance and Music Education, and a minor in Disability Studies. As a performer, educator, and researcher, Kelly is committed to creating a supportive, open, and adaptive environment where everyone feels welcome and empowered. She performs and teaches across a variety of genres, including classical, musical theatre, jazz, pop, and choral.

As an educator, she is a strong advocate for cross-training and strives to create an inclusive studio environment that supports students of all identities and abilities. Kelly has experience teaching in both the solo voice studio and general music and choral classrooms, from early childhood through adulthood. As a soprano, Kelly has performed both nationally and internationally and is a frequent performer in musical theatre and opera. Some of her credits include performances at the University of Delaware Lyric Theatre for La Clemenza di Tito (Tito), Little Women: The Musical (Meg), 9 to 5: The Musical (Violet), Men I'm Not Married To (Evelyn), and the world premiere of Penelope and the Geese (Athena) and with the Austrian American Mozart Academy Bastien und Bastienne (Bastienne) and Der Schauspieldirektor (Dr.

Engel). She loves to meet every student where they are in their personal development and instill a passion for music-making and discovery.
