Piano -
Lizzie comes from a family of musicians and has been making music her whole life. Since starting piano lessons at the age of five, she has regularly performed solo repertoire and accompanied other musicians. She is primarily a pianist, but also played flute, piccolo, and oboe throughout middle and high school. Lizzie earned a BA in Spanish from Indiana University and is entering the piano performance program at CU Boulder in the 2020-2021 academic year. She enjoys teaching both children and adults and believes that studying music should be a creative and collaborative experience. As a teacher, she prioritizes her students’ interests, while offering them the technique and performance skills they need to be confident, well-rounded musicians. Lizzie lives in Boulder with her human companion, two orange cats, and a high-maintenance rescue dog.
