Kimberly Cheung

With 21 years of piano experience, Kimberly pairs a classical foundation with the storytelling energy of a singer-songwriter. She graduated from Stanford University in 2025 with a B. S. in Biology (Ecology and Evolution) and an M.

S. in Bioengineering.  Kimberly completed the highest level of the California Music Teachers' Association Certificate of Merit program.  Throughout her collegiate studies, she continued to pursue her passion for music, diversifying her genres as she collaborated with new musicians.

Kimberly is excited to inspire students to find their unique voice and a genuine love for music. Along with teaching, she remains a lifelong learner in her own musical journey, most recently exploring the acoustic guitar. Outside of music, Kimberly is a triathlete, environmentalist, and bioengineer. With this diverse background, she creates a positive environment where students can bring their own personality to every lesson and build foundational skills that will last a lifetime.
