In recent years, Linzi has focused on solo piano performance under the tutelage of Jeffrey Swann, becoming a well-rounded musician. She served as a department assistant at the Eastman School of Music while pursuing her degree. Linzi's accomplishments include placing 3rd in the Vandoren Emerging Artists Competition in collaboration with clarinetist Mike Miller; playing for Friends of Eastman Opera with baritone David Fournie; performing the Chopin piano concerto in the Changjiang River Piano Competition in Yichang, China; being nominated in the Shanghai “Qin Dong Pujiang” Piano Competition; and receiving a silver prize in the female solo voice category of the Hong Kong International Choir Competition. She has also been awarded multiple Gold Medals at the World Choir Games in various categories and was titled “Champion of the World Choir Games” in Category 10 Female Choirs. Additionally, she was the champion at the fifth German Brahms Choir Festival in Wernigerode, Germany, and attended the summer program Songfest on a full scholarship.
